Math problem...HELP!!!!!!!?

The pep club is going to sell bouquets of flowers during the homecoming game. They represent their sales, R, and costs,C,with the following equations. R=4.50x C= 200+2.25x x is the number of bouquets.

Question(s)1: When is the pep clubs sales equal to their costs? Explain how you got your answer.

Question 2 :What is the rate of change for each relationship?

Sales:

Cost:

Question 3 : What is the y-intercept for the line of each equation?

Sales:

Cost:

Math problem...HELP!!!!!!!?
DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK!

it is the only way you will learn it! if you have a question ask your teacher tomorrow.
Reply:4.50x=200+2.25x

-2.25x -2.25x

2.25x=200/2.25

x = ~89

Sales: 4.5

Costs: 2.25

Sales: 0

Costs: 200

Hope that helps!
Reply:1) set the 2 equations equal to each other and solve for x

4.5x=200+2.25x --%26gt;subtract 2.25x from both sides

2.25x=200 --%26gt;divide both sides by 2.25

x=88.888.. so after selling approx. 89 bouquets

2) the rate of change is the slope of each equation

in y=mx+b, the slope is m so

in R=4.5x+0 the slope/rate of change is 4.5 (sales)

in C=2.25x+200 the slope/rate of change is 2.25 (cost)

3) in y=mx+b, the y-intercept is b so

in R=4.5x+0 the y-intercept is 0 (sales)

in C=2.25x+200 the y-intercept is 200 (cost)
