Birthday idea for a friend?

i've written a similar question like this before but i want to say a phase in romanian as a surprise for my friends(girl) birthday i'm just not shore how to bring it up in conversation it's not like i can go oh and bye the way and say the line i was also going to give her a bunch of her favorite flowers (yellow fangipani) do you have any idea on how to do this and how should i give her the flowers as well
