Does any body else hate Valentines?

Ok, so I use to be all into Valentines untill today. Here is why, I went out of my way to make my girlfriend breakfast in bed, brought her flowers %26amp; chocolates to work, took her out to lunch, and made her a candle light dinner, on top of all that I got her a package for a spa with a facial, manicure , the works you know, and at the end of the night I thought she would atleast get me a f...... card. I didn't really expected much other that to makeher feel special and some afection too which I dont think is much to ask right? So what does she do, right after dinner she goes on line to MY SPACE. After running around all day trying to do all this to show how I feel about her, that is not how I thought the night would end and honestly NO I wasn't expecting SEX, I meen it would have been nice but I could have done just fine without it. So from now on I say "Screw Valentines"

Dear, you should not hate valentine because of this incident....



Sincerely many people have a treasures and they take it for granted and they donot realise that it is priceless....



But you should forgive her and perhaps tell her calmly that her attitude/response disappointed you and i`m sure things will go well, together you will work for the welfare of your relationship....That`s true love dear....



And i want to add that you are such a sweetheart....i will like very much my charming prince would have the qualities as you....

Reply:I did this year as well but thats pretty normal when you have no one to share it with. You should at least be happy about that, many take it for granted when they have someone that truly loves them anyway.

If you were not expecting the return of a woman's charms why did you do all this? Certainly you had romantic feeling for this girl. Making love is the perfect end to such a day don't you think? There is nothing wrong with physically desiring the object of your affection. It is only cheapen by only wanting to use a girl for sex.



Women are just as deceptive has her male counterpart. Women would use a guy for selfish reason knowing full well she will not reciprocate. Her action are more damaging because a guy is out of his money and time. When she got what she wanted she was through with you. Women like this is also why chivalry is dying art. Women that benefit from unfair advantages and thinking people will look the other way because “she’s only a woman” doesn't demand respect.
Reply:i hate valentines for a completely different reason, being that i have never had a boyfriend to celebrate with, but what sucks more, it like new years to me. i don't make any new years resolutions, but when v-day rolls around i promis my self that next year will be different. And if i would ever be fortunate nough to have someone, i wouldn't treat him like your girlfriend treated you. I would make it memorable, and romantic, and definitely would want to do more than a card. but valentines day makes the love you give and recieve everyday less than perfect. it raises expectations only to disappoint. So, "Screw valentines" is fitting!!!
