What should i do for my GF for valentines day?

We are 16(her) and 17(me), we are both juniors and go to the same school. I don't want to go with the old cliche' flowers and candy because she just isn't that type of girl. Suggestions please! I can spend somewhere around $40 and i figured i would write her a poem or something along that lines but wanted to do something cool that she has never done before

You should go to a craft store and buy a heart shaped jar.

Then look around the store for little things that make you think of her that you can put in the jar. Think outside the box and try to remember little things that she likes or talks about. Then write her that poem, roll it up, and stick it in the jar. Throw in a picture of you to.

Its a cute little way to show how much she means to you and how much you know about her.

Reply:What types of things does she like? Pay attention to the things that she says- her likes and dislikes, but don't ask her. If you surprise her with an assortment of some of her favorite things, it will show her that you are attentive, and that you pay attention to her. She will appreciate knowing that you listen to her, and that you know her. This will go beyond the material value of the items.
