Flower Girl and Ring Bearer at Rehearsal Dinner?

My flower girl is my 4 year old cousin, and our ring bearer is our 5 year old nephew. Is it proper to invite them to the dinner after our wedding rehearsal? My fiance and I have never seen children at these.

Also, our ring bearers mom is one of my bridesmaids and she's a single mom, so no additional people would need to come for him. However, my flower girl has a 7 year old sister. Is it proper/necessary to invite her parents and older sister? I don't know where to draw the line.

Yes, you need to include everyone that's in the wedding @ the rehearsal dinner and for the 7 yr old you should have the parents %26amp; sister too...they can watch her then.

I meant the 4 yr old with 7 yr sister...
Reply:Yes, and their parents. Not siblings.
Reply:I would invite the whole family to the rehearsal and the dinner. the dinner is for everyone who is a part of the ceremony and actually needs to rehearse. since they're kids, their dates are their parents and sister!
Reply:You should invite them all, if you were 7 wouldnt youfeel a bit left out and sad if you were invited along?
Reply:When I was a flower girl many years ago, I was at the rehersal dinner. As for the inviting the parents of the flower girl, I wouldn't think that would be necessary, but you should make sure that the dinner isn't going to be too late for her to attend, and make sure arrangements have been made for picking up/dropping off.
Reply:I read in a wedding etiquette book that you aren't suppose to invite them but mine are all children of people in the wedding so they're invited.
Reply:I would go ahead and invite the flower girl's family. She's 4 - it's not like she can come by herself ;)
Reply:The flower girl and her family (including the sister) should be invited to the rehearsal dinner. To do otherwise would be very impolite.
Reply:We are inviting the ours and their families. I suppose it is up to you.
