What's the name of this tree?

So I live in the midwest and there's this tree in a company parking lot I like. It looks like a bonzi (you know one of those little Japanese plants) But it's a small tree with pink flowers. I've tried finding it on line with no luck! Can anyone help me?? Thanks so much!!

What's the name of this tree?
It may be the adenium plant or the michelia champa variety plant.

It has shiny leaves and 5 petaled pink flowers. The stem is thick and gives appearance of a bonsai. The stem is green in some parts and performs photosynthesis. Needs little water. Grows well in sunny places.

It is a native in your area.

If not then either a cherry or a Judas tree
