I need your help!! I'm not good at this type of thing.?

I need to send out Thank you cards, for flowers and such that were sent to my husband when his father passed away. I don't know what to write. All I can think of is, Thank you for your thoughtfulness. I don't want to write just one line. Any help, or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thank you!!

Thank you for the beautiful flowers. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated during this difficult time.
Reply:Sorry to hear of your husbands loss.

When writing thank you cards for this type of occasion, it is best to keep it simple.

Thank you for your thoughts during this time.

The flowers were beautiful, thanks for thinking of us.

Thank you for your kindness.

You are generous and kind, thank you.

It does not really matter what you write, only to express your thanks for their thoughts during this time.
Reply:One line is fine. People understand that you are not in the mood to think of lots to say. And you are doing great to send the cards - too many people blow off that obligation.

You could stretch it out by saying "Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Roy and I both appreciated the [card, flowers, casserole] very much."

That's plenty. Any more is too chatty anyway!
Reply:sorry about your father passing......don't worrry, sometimes one line is perfect.....you just want to let them know you appreciate their concern.....i am sure that they will understand you probably aren't up to coming up with great lines right now.....how many times have you done something for someone and just a simple thank you made it all worth it....
Reply:There are many places - on or offline, that understand your situation and could help word it perfely, as in just the way you want, and print them for you.

Sorry to hear of your sadd loss.
