Why do men from other countries, like the UK and etc...want my address?
I believe it's safer not to give them your home address. Especially considering that you do already have a bad feeling about it. As they say, trust your gut. I'm thinking you must be very attractive for them to be willing to send you flowers at your doorstep from their country. I also believe it's safer not to give too much personal information to people you only know online. Also it seems you can't be 100% sure about those guys location so, safety first.
Reply:**DO NOT** give them any information. It's a scam.

They are trying to commit identity theft, and if it goes far enough, they will start saying that they are coming over to this country to meet you, but need you to pay for their travel, and they will try to nickel-and-dime you for this and that. The requests for money would never end.

Here are a couple of good addresses to learn about scams like these, and I do suggest you visit them because I learned a lot from them:

In the meantime, DO NOT send them any personal information, pictures, documents, or money. Sometimes, they will even ask for pictures of yourself and/or copies of your driver's license or passport.

Lastly, as convincing as they might seem, NEVER believe a word they say and don't feel sorry for them. They have caused a lot of suffering for many people. If you got their screen name, I would recommend reporting them to the moderator or the service you are using, as a gullible person will fall for their scam. Don't allow them to victimize anyone.
Reply:I saw an episode of Dateline NBC where people overseas where using stolen credit cards to purchase merchindise. They would ship it to the address of someone in the states they met online and then ask that unsuspecting person to ship the product to them. You are right to be concerned.
Reply:You are asking for major trouble!! Number one rule when you are meeting men from online is NEVER, ever, EVER give them your address!! There are a LOT of sickos out there!
