Please help?
hiya back! what you really need to do is have an accent wall of different color and texture, then use your colorful art on the white walls, a picture with a lot of white on the colored wall. remember to tie in your colors with throw pillows with the same colors as your art work and the accent wall you can not go wrong doing this and it will look as if a professional did your decorating for you.
Reply:Silly question, but have you tried Ikea? They've got some large canvases, and they're reasonably cheap. We got one from there to put up in our bathroom.
Mind you, for the living room I'm saving up for an original oil from an artist I saw on Skye earlier this year.

Definitely bold and dramatic, but, unfortunately, not flowers...
Alternatively, just keep an eye out. The right thing will come along when you're least expecting it, and it'll jump out at you. I'm a great believer in serendipity - hope you find what you want!
Reply:www.art.com sometimes has some, but I think they're out for now. You can try www.ebay.com. I like the one of the woman with the snake and the starry night picture, but neither sounds like what you're looking for. You could get the Marilyn Monroe poster from art.com and go with a neutral theme. Try only black, white, and silver in the room. Or maybe the Kill Bill poster if you like that one, and add splashes of red and yellow with throw pillows and little accents. More along the lines of what you seem to want would be at www.allposters.com. Look up Emma Davis there-- she has tulip prints. Plus, they have wonderful prints of magnolias, roses, and more. Or try www.artwork.barewalls.com for big posters of pandas, paradise, and sunset in the rockies, maybe more. Your best bet, though, may be www.artexpression.com. Click on the link for floral posters, but keep an eye on the size. Might I suggest Glorious Rose, Daisy Bouquet, or Red Roses Abstract? You'll probably have to find a frame shop to get whatever print you buy framed, but at least you'll be able to choose the frame. Enjoy your new living room!
